INTRO TO ART

M: HAND IN ANY EXTRA HOMEWORK TIME THAT YOU MAY HAVE HAD FROM OVER THE WEEKEND.   DAILY DIGITAL REFLECTIONS. TURN IN ANY FINAL DRAWINGS FROM BOOKLET AND HAND IN BOOKLET.  CONTINUE TO LAYOUT COLLAGE AND DECIDE WHAT TO DO FOR YOUR BACKGROUND.

T:  WORK TO ORGANIZE COLLAGE.  DIGITAL ART REFLECTIONS.   COLLAGE DUE BY WEDNESDAY.

W:  DIGITAL DAILY ART REFLECTIONS. ASSIGN:  LAYOUT FOR COLLAGE.  BEGIN WITH BACKGROUND PIECES.  FRAME EACH LAYOUT ALL PIECES FOR COLLAGE. FRAME ALL PIECES FOR COLLAGE.  ARRANGE AND TAPE ALL PIECES ONTO COLLAGE .  COLLAGE IS DUE TODAY.  GO OVER HOW TO WRITE CRITIQUE.  

TH: TYPE CRITIQUE AND FIND IDEAS FOR COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION.

F: HAND IN HOMEWORK TIMES.  DIGITAL DAILY REFLECTIONS. WORK ON USING COLORED PENCILS.

 HONORS ART

M:  HAND IN AND UPDATE ALL ART HOMEWORK FROM OVER THE WEEKEND.   DIGITAL DAILY REFLECTIONS. CONTINUE TO WORK ON ASSIGNMENT CHOICES DISCUSSED IN CLASS OR THE LOVE OF MY LFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.  REFLECTION/SHADOW/WHO I AM/DIPTYCH RIPPED-INK PROJECT.  THIS IS THE LIST OF  INDEPENDENT STUDY ASSIGNMENTS AS ASSIGNED BY THE ART TEACHER.  THEY ARE DUE AS ASSIGNED.  CHECK WITH TEACHER AS YOU PROGRESS.  STUDIO PROJECT GOAL SHEET SHOULD BE ASSIGNED TO EVERY STUDENT WHO IS IN AN INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM OF STUDY. 

T: WORK ON ENTRY LEVEL SHADING PROJECT FROM PACKET.  DUE THURSDAY.  YOU MAY WORK ON YOUR INDIVIDUALIZED ASSIGNMENT OR THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE. ENTER DIGITAL DAILY REFLECTIONS.  SHADOW/REFLECTION PROJECT, WHO I AM , COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION.  TREE WITH WATERCOLOR AND STIPPLING, OR DIPTYCH RIPPED-INK.   DUE AS ASSIGNED. 

W: CONTINUE TO WORK ON SHADOW/REFLECTION / WHO I AM PROJECT/ COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION.BE SURE TO ENTER DIGITAL DAILY REFLECTIONS. SOME STUDENTS ARE FINISHED WITH THIS LESSON.  MAY CRITIQUE AND MOVE ONTO:  COLORED PENCIL/WHO AM I/ YOUR FAVORITE SELFIE.  MAY CHOOSE AND ILLUSTRATE IN MEDIUM OF CHOICE.

THURSDAY: HAND IN ENTRY LEVEL ILLUSTRATION FROM HANDOUT.  ENTER DAILY DIGITAL REFLECTIONS. WORK ON LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.  MEDIUMS WILL BE DISCUSSES WITH THE TEACHER.  WORK ON SHADOW/REFLECTION/WHO I AM PROJECT/COLORED PENCIL ILLUSTRATION AS ASSIGNED.  CHECK WITH TEACHER AS YOU PROGRESS.  CLASS WILL CRITIQUE WORK AS YOU GET FURTHER ALONG ON PROJECT.  MAY WORK ON ANY OF THE ABOVE IDEAS FOR NEXT LESSON.

FRIDAY TURN IN ALL HOMEWORK.  BE SURE TO ENTER YOUR DAILY DIGITAL REFLECTIONS.  CONTINUE TO WORK ON THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OR THE LIFE THAT I LOVE.   SHADOW/REFLECTION ARTWORK / WHO I AM/ OR COLORED PENCIL.  SOME MAY BE DUE TODAY.  STUDENTS MAY WORK ON IN THE ORDER THEY/TEACHER HAVE DISCUSSED.   ALL STUDENTS MUST FINISH AND MOVE ONTO CRITIQUING THE PROJECT.  DEPENDING UPON SIZE/DETAIL OF IDEA, STUDENTS WILL HAVE ONE TO TWO WEEKS TO COMPLETE THE ARTWORK. 

 

  7TH  GRADE ART

M: HAND IN ANY HOMEWORK TIMES AND SIGNATURES AS NEEDED.  WORK ON COLOR THEORY PACKET.   GO OVER COLOR WORKSHEET.  WILL WORK ON BLENDING. 

T: WORK ON BLENDING WATERCOLORS.   HAND OUT WATERCOLOR WORKSHEETS.  MAY CHOOSE FROM AN ANALOGOUS, COMPLEMENTARY OR COLOR TRIADIC COLOR SCHEME.

W: WORK ON COLOR WORKSHEETS.  DUE TOMORROW.

TH: WILL WORK ON COLOR  WORKSHEETS.     WILL WORK ON "UNDER THE SEA" WATERCOLOR PROJECTS.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           F: HAND IN ALL HOMEWORK TIMES.   WORK ON "UNDER THE SEA" WATERCOLOR PROJECT.
